The Neutron Star Era-2 is designed for everyday cutting tasks. This model has a nail groove opening instead of standard thumb studs.
The knife comes factory-installed with high-precision ball bearings mounted on hardened steel disks. However, for those who prefer a more traditional experience, phosphor bronze washers are also included. These can be swapped out for the ball bearings.
The handles are made of titanium with internal honeycomb milling for lightness while maintaining the maximum possible structural integrity.
The blade, made of powder-metallurgical steel CPM S35VN, combines wear and corrosion resistance with outstanding toughness. This steel was developed specifically for knives and has not been repurposed for other applications.
The knife's blade impresses with a precise hollow grind and a razor-thin edge, ground to approximately 0.45 mm. Due to its size, the folding knife combines compactness with high functionality—the sweet spot for everyday use and everyday EDC.
The deep carry pocket clip is recessed into the titanium and secured with countersunk screws. This discreet integration, combined with the optimally adjusted clip tension, not only allows for effortless insertion but also ensures that the trouser hem is not overstressed.
