Rev 2 with the entire pen machined with a grippy ring design for maximum grip all based on customer feedback.

CC team wanted a simple rugged pen without a cap, and minimal moving parts and distractions for use in the shop. There’s sufficient thread engaged with the barrel to maintain a solid connection, and there’s enough friction in the threads such that the tail cap won’t accidentally unscrew the rest of the way. Pen tip retracts into the head when not in use. There are no distractors on this pen. It's stiff straight shaft provides a comfortable grip for extended use.
