Silk screen printed bandana is a made by a scarf company since 1918 in Tokyo. 100% cotton. Dye-dyed with color soaked through to the reverse side.
The light blue color is a traditional Japanese “Hanada-iro” (Hanada means flower and iro means color), a color with a slightly gray feel. Loved as a Japanese color for more than 1,000 years.
The navy color is a traditional Japanese “Katsu-iro” (Katsu means victory and iro means color), a brave Japanese color name favored by samurai who were obsessed with victory.
Hand illustrated design by a founder Junichi Kobashi. Comes with a Japanese wax paper envelope.
